Origin Series Warranty
The Origin chair carries a 12-year comprehensive warranty. This warranty is structured in two phases.
Phase 1: Mechanical Replacement (Years 1–3)
During the first three years, if any part of your Origin chair fails due to a manufacturing defect or material degradation, we will replace the entire chair at no cost to you. We do not ask you to troubleshoot or replace individual components. We replace the chair.
Phase 2: Service Support (Years 4–12)
From year four through year twelve, we provide continuing service support. If your chair requires repair due to a manufacturing defect or material failure, we will repair or replace the damaged component at no cost. This phase covers frame defects, mechanism failures, and upholstery degradation.
Oasis, Realm, and Float Series Warranty
These chairs carry a 5-year comprehensive warranty. This warranty is also structured in two phases.
Phase 1: Mechanical Replacement (Year 1)

Phase 2: Service Support (Years 2–5)
From year two through year five, we provide continuing service support. If your chair requires repair due to a manufacturing defect or material failure, we will repair or replace the damaged component at no cost.
What Is Covered
Our warranties cover the following:
- Frame and structure. The chair's frame, base, and structural components are covered against defects in materials and workmanship.
- Mechanisms. All moving parts are covered, including the recline mechanism, height adjustment, armrest adjustments, headrest adjustments, and tension controls.
- Upholstery. The seat cushion, backrest, and armrest padding are covered against degradation, tearing, and seam failure.
- Gas lift and cylinders. The pneumatic lift mechanism is covered against failure.
- Casters and wheels. All rolling components are covered against defects.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranties do not cover the following:
- Normal wear and tear. Fading, minor scuffs, and cosmetic damage from regular use are not covered.
- Damage from misuse. Damage caused by dropping the chair, standing on it, or using it for purposes other than seated work is not covered.
- Damage from accidents. Spills, stains, and damage from external impacts are not covered.
- Modifications. If you modify the chair or replace original parts with non-Aerthom components, the warranty is void for that component.
- Damage from improper assembly. If the chair is assembled incorrectly or by someone other than our white-glove delivery team, we do not cover resulting damage.
- Commercial use beyond normal office work. If the chair is used in a commercial setting for purposes beyond standard office work (such as a gaming cafe or arcade), the warranty may not apply.
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Contact us. Email our support team at support@aerthom.com or call our warranty line with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Provide photos. Send clear photos of the damaged area or the issue you are experiencing. This helps us assess whether the damage is covered.
- We arrange the repair or replacement. If your claim is approved, we will either ship replacement parts to you or arrange a full chair replacement. For Phase 1 claims on the Origin chair, we replace the entire chair. For Phase 2 claims, we typically ship the damaged component for you to install, or we can arrange professional installation if needed.
- Return the damaged item. If we send you a replacement, we will provide a prepaid return label for you to send back the damaged chair or component.
Warranty Registration
Your warranty begins on the date of purchase. You do not need to register your chair to activate warranty coverage. Your order number is your warranty proof. Keep your order confirmation email for reference.
If you purchase an Aerthom chair as a gift or receive it from someone else, the warranty transfers to the new owner. Contact us with the original order number and we will update our records.
Extended Protection
We offer optional extended protection plans for chairs outside the standard warranty period. These plans can extend coverage up to 20 years total. Contact our sales team for pricing and availability.
Why Our Warranties Are Different
Most office chair warranties cover only the frame and exclude mechanisms and upholstery. Our warranties cover everything. We do this because we engineered our chairs to last, and we stand behind that engineering.
The Origin chair's 12-year warranty reflects our confidence in the flagship design. The 5-year warranty on other models is still longer than industry standard, because we do not believe in the seven-year replacement cycle.
We have seen what breaks in office chairs. We have fixed thousands of them. Our warranties are based on that real-world experience, not on marketing timelines.
